The main difference is just color. No, there is no performance difference.
Is cane boo better than action boo & is it better to spread out tapers with two laminations instead of placing all the taper in one. My understanding is you should not use more than .002" taper in a longbow.

If there is any difference, it may be that the action-boo is more consistent. You will see the nodes with cane-bamboo but action-boo comes in full length 72" parallels instead of 36" pair parallels. For longbows, yes, we recommend one .002" taper and the rest parallels for your core.

Answered by the admin Tapered laminations change in thickness over the length of the lamination. For example, a .002" taper will decrease .002" per running inch from butt to tip.
