Q Can this be used as a backing material in place of fiberglass? answer nowAsked by January 31, 2021 8:24 pmonAnswered by the admin This carbon is formulated to be used as a core material, not a back and belly lamination. It will give you increased performance, about 5 fps. Put it as close to the back (target) side glass as possible. If clear glass is used, put it under first wood layer on back (target) side.

Use 1 strip of carbon in the core, as close to the back (target) side of the bow as possible. For clear glass, put it just under the first wood layer on the back side. You must allow for the thickness of the carbon and you must also allow for 5 pounds of extra weight.
