The All-In-One Starter Kit For Your First One Piece Longbow includes everything that you need to make your first bow. The limb kit comes with olive green, brown, red or white glass and hard maple laminations. Choose your riser from hard maple, ash, jatoba, bubinga, shedua, padauk or ebiara (red zebra). This kit includes the following: Limb lamination kit with black glass and hard maple wood core, press kit with instructions and dvd, thermostat control, riser block, epoxy, phenolic tip overlays (2 pair), continuous loop dacron string (2), bow rest, 1 1/2″ high temperature resistant masking tape and filament tape.

can this bow be cut down to 60 inches

We have a 68" flat limb or reflex/deflex, a 64" reflex/deflex, or 62" hybrid design. Yes, they could be modified to a 60" length.
Can I get the kit with carbon cores and different laminatations? Basically customize the kit?

Read more answer nowAsked by September 13, 2021 7:37 pmonAnswered by the admin The All-in-One Starter Kit has everything that you need for your first bow. The only items that you will need to provide are plywood, light bulbs, wiring, etc. Concerning power tools, you will need a band saw and some kind of drum sander. If you don't have a drum sander but have a drill press, we have drum sanding units for your drill press. Optional power tools would be a table saw and joiner.

We suggest either 2 layers of bo-tuff overlays or an 1/8" layer of phenolic. Most people use 2 layers of 1/16" phenolic in two different colors.

If you ordered a limb kit, 40# @ 31", it would be 40# @ 31".

Yes, the reflex/deflex design in the 68" and the 64" or 62" hybrid is different. It is mainly in the riser, however. The 68" r/d riser is flat across the back (target side) side. The 64" r/d and the 62" hybrid both have a curved riser on the back (target side) side.
